How Wisdoms handles your data

1. General Information

The protection of your personal data is important to us. The Wisdoms app is designed to display inspirational quotes, guide breathing, and play ambient sound while collecting no personal data at all. This policy explains how the Wisdoms app and this website (getwisdoms.life) handle data — the two are treated separately below.

3. The Wisdoms App — No Data Collected

The app works fully offline and requires no internet connection. It:

• does not require user registration or accounts
• does not collect or store any personal data
• does not transmit any data off your device
• does not use tracking, profiling, or analytics tools
• contains no advertising and no third-party SDKs
• sends no notifications

All content — the quotes, fonts, music, and nature sounds — is bundled inside the app. All preferences (favorites, font choice, color scheme, sound selection) are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted. They can be removed at any time by uninstalling the app.

4. Saving and Sharing Quotes

When you choose to save a quote to your gallery, the app writes an image file to your device's own photo gallery. Nothing is sent to us or to any server. When you choose to share a quote, the app hands the image to your device's standard share dialog, and you decide which app (messenger, email, and so on) receives it. We do not see, store, or transmit anything in this process.

5. Quote Sources

The quotes are bundled offline within the app. No external service is contacted to display them, and no usage data is transmitted while reading. The collection is sourced from Quotable (CC BY-SA 4.0) and a curated selection of public-domain classical quotes from Wikiquote.

6. This Website

The sections above describe the app. This website (getwisdoms.life) is hosted by a third-party provider. Like most websites, the host may automatically record technical server log files that your browser transmits when you visit — these may include your IP address, date and time of the request, browser type and version, operating system, the referring URL, and the requested page. These logs are used solely for the technical operation and security of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). They are retained only as long as necessary and then deleted. This website uses no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking.
